Samsung has launched three new gaming monitors in India: Odyssey 3D 4K, Odyssey OLED G8 4K, and Odyssey G9 DQHD. All three models are available from April 8, 2025, on Samsung’s official website. The 3D 4K model is also available on Amazon India.

1. Odyssey 3D 4K (LS27FG900XWXXL)

Samsung Odyssey 3D 4K Gaming Monitor

This 27-inch monitor features a flat IPS display with 4K UHD resolution (3840×2160), a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 1ms Gray-to-Gray response time. It has a 16:9 aspect ratio, supports HDR10 and HDR10+ Gaming, and offers 350 nits of brightness. The screen covers 99% of the sRGB color gamut, displays up to 1 billion colors, and has a wide 178° viewing angle.

It supports AMD FreeSync Premium and is NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible. The monitor has built-in dual 5W speakers (2 channels) for audio. It offers a glasses-free 3D experience using eye-tracking and view mapping, with AI-powered 3D conversion that adds depth to 2D videos. These features can be accessed through the Reality Hub app available on Samsung.com and the Microsoft Store.

Gaming features include Black Equalizer, Virtual Aim Point, Ultrawide Game View, and Auto Source Switch+. Display features include Eye Saver Mode, Flicker-Free technology, Picture-in-Picture, and Image Size Adjustment.

Connectivity options include 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, 1 DisplayPort 1.4, 2 USB 3.1 ports, and 1 USB-B upstream port. It does not have a USB-C port or headphone jack.

The stand supports up to 12cm height adjustment, tilt from -3° to 15°, and ±92° pivot. It is VESA mount compatible (100×100 mm). With the stand, the monitor measures 61.41 x 54.15 x 20.33 cm and weighs 7.5 kg. Without the stand, it measures 61.41 x 37.22 x 4.6 cm and weighs 4.7 kg. The box includes a 1.5m power cable, HDMI cable, DisplayPort cable, and USB 3.0 cable.

2. Odyssey OLED G8 4K (LS27FG810SW / LS32FG810SW)

This monitor is available in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes. Both use flat OLED QD panels with 4K resolution (3840×2160), a 240Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03ms Gray-to-Gray response time. They have a 16:9 aspect ratio, support HDR10+, and are certified with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400. Brightness is 250 nits for the 27-inch model and 260 nits for the 32-inch. Both have a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

Color coverage is 99% DCI-P3 (CIE1976), with support for 1 billion colors and a 178° viewing angle. They support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro but do not mention supporting NVIDIA G-SYNC. They also do not feature built-in speakers. Samsung’s OLED Safeguard+ technology is onboard to prevent burn-in using a Dynamic Cooling System and Pulsating Heat Pipe.

The stand allows for flexible positioning with up to 12 cm of height adjustment, a tilt range from -2° to 25°, swivel of ±30°, and pivot of ±92°. It is compatible with VESA mounts (100×100 mm), making it suitable for various setups. The 27-inch model measures 61.17 x 55.42 x 26.35 cm with the stand and 61.17 x 35.38 x 4.92 cm without it, weighing 6.9 kg and 3.8 kg respectively. The larger 32-inch model has dimensions of 71.97 x 58.46 x 26.35 cm with the stand and 71.97 x 41.47 x 4.92 cm without, with a corresponding weight of 8.4 kg with the stand and 5.3 kg without. Both models are packaged with a 1.5-meter power cable, an HDMI cable, and a DisplayPort cable for easy connectivity.

3. Odyssey G9 DQHD (LS49FG910EWXXL)

This 49-inch monitor has a curved VA panel with a 1000R curve and Dual QHD resolution (5120×1440). It has a 32:9 aspect ratio, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 1ms Gray-to-Gray response time. Brightness is 350 nits, and the contrast ratio is 2500:1. It supports HDR10+ GAMING and is certified with VESA DisplayHDR 600. The monitor covers 92% of the DCI-P3 color space (CIE1976), supports 1.07 billion colors, and offers a 178° viewing angle.

Gaming features include support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Picture-in-Picture, Picture-by-Picture, Black Equalizer, Virtual Aim Point, Auto Source Switch+, Adaptive Picture, and Super Arena Gaming UX. Display features include Eye Saver Mode, Flicker-Free technology, and Image Size Adjustment.

Port options include 2 HDMI 2.1, 1 DisplayPort 1.4, 1 USB-B upstream, 2 USB-A (3.2 Gen1), and a headphone jack. The stand supports up to 12cm height adjustment, tilts from -2° to +11°, and swivels ±15°. It is VESA mount compatible (100×100 mm). The color is Black. With the stand, the monitor measures 114.76 x 56.84 x 42.05 cm and weighs 15.6 kg. Without the stand, it measures 114.76 x 36.35 x 29.38 cm and weighs 10.6 kg. The box includes a 1.5m power cable and a DisplayPort cable.

4. Pricing & availability

The Odyssey monitor lineup is now available for purchase starting today (April 8, 2025), via Samsung’s official website. The Odyssey 3D 4K (27-inch) is priced at Rs. 1,27,299 and comes in Silver, with additional availability on Amazon.in. The Odyssey OLED G8 is offered in two sizes—27-inch for Rs. 91,299 and 32-inch for Rs. 1,18,999—both in Silver. The Odyssey G9 DQHD (49-inch) is available in Black for Rs. 94,099.
