Oppo has officially announced that it is planning to launch a new smartphone in the Indian market soon. The Oppo K13 is the model in question, but it isn’t just a smartphone that the company is bringing over from China. This model is making its first debut in India. So here’s what we know.
Oppo K13 5G arriving in India soon
The Chinese tech giant officially shared a teaser on Flipkart, which is a popular e-retailer in India. This confirms the availability of the Oppo K13 in the region and hints at its imminent release. The Oppo K13 has been rumored to be in the work for sometime now along with its higher end Oppo K13 Pro model. As the name suggests, the Oppo K13 is the direct successor of the Oppo K12, which launched as the rebranded version of the OnePlus Nord CE 4.
Based on our previous report, the Oppo K13 is rumored to feature the Dimensity 8400 SoC. The Oppo K13x was also leaked as an entry level model in the series, which features the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, an FHD+ AMOLED display, and a massive 7,000mAh battery pack with 80W wired fast charging. In other words, the more expensive base Oppo K13 would likely bring similar if not better specs.
We can expect a large battery capacity (that has quickly become the norm for Chinese smartphones), and fast charging. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of information to go on at the moment, so stick around for more as we will be covering more information that surfaced regarding the Oppo K13.
