Xiaomi is back at it again—this time, with a kitchen upgrade that’s smarter, healthier, and wrapped in titanium. The company has officially unveiled the Mijia 3D Pressure IH Rice Cooker P1 3L, a compact, high-tech cooker that promises to make your daily bowl of rice taste like a pro made it. It’s up for pre-sale on JD.com at 799 yuan (around $110), with the first batch shipping on April 17.

Xiaomi Mijia Rice Cooker P1 Specifications

The standout feature? A fluorine-free titanium inner pot—no Teflon, no heavy metals, and built tough using a high-temperature molten process that fuses titanium particles with stainless steel and ultra-hard crystals. It’s designed to be baby-food safe and practically a breeze to clean.

But it’s not just about what’s inside the pot. The Mijia P1 uses 1.2x pressure cooking to push water deeper into each grain of rice, giving it a plump, chewy texture and a natural sweetness boost—up to 48% more, according to Xiaomi. There’s also IH (Induction Heating) 3D surround tech, which evenly heats the pot from all sides, avoiding clumps and giving your rice a glossy, restaurant-style finish.

Powering all this is Xiaomi’s smart “Perfect Cook” algorithm, which taps into a 10-stage cooking curve. This system draws on insights from more than 3,000 optimized cooking programs, adjusting heat and timing in real-time based on the rice type and water ratio. It’s engineered for precision, so you’re not gambling with your dinner.

Xiaomi didn’t skimp on safety either. Instead of using a standard mechanical pressure valve, the P1 relies on a patented electromagnetic pressure release system. It brings six layers of safety protection and helps maintain consistent pressure throughout cooking. The rice cooker also carries a 10A quality certification, which essentially means your rice scores high in all the right categories—moisture, stickiness, sweetness, and plumpness.

As you’d expect from a Mijia product, this rice cooker plugs right into the HyperOS smart ecosystem. You can control it from the Mi Home app, schedule meals up to 24 hours ahead, and pick from over 100 smart recipes. It even supports XiaoAI voice control, so you can literally talk your dinner into existence.

The design is as sleek as the tech inside: a minimalist white body, silver trim, ultra-clear touch panel, and a clean black smart display that gives it a premium, modern feel.

In related news, Xiaomi recently introduced a central air conditioner featuring top-tier energy efficiency, AI-powered controls, and built-in air purification. The company has also launched a budget-friendly compact refrigerator, offering smart cooling without a hefty price tag.
