G-SHOCK’s UK website has listed a new model, the DW-5600BBR-1, featuring an amber-backlit LCD, a black resin case, and bold red accents. This design appears to be a color variant of the brand’s classic all-black DW-5600UBB-1, targeting a mature, rugged aesthetic.

The watch includes a 5-year battery life, LED backlight, and a bio-based plastic case (part of Casio’s eco-friendly efforts). The amber LCD screen improves readability in low light, paired with red highlights on the strap and bezel. The product description labels it under the “BLACK AND BOLD RED” series, suggesting more models in this color theme may follow.
The DW-5600BBR-1 combines G-SHOCK’s signature durability with a stealthy look. It retains the square DW-5600 shape, known for shock resistance and water resistance. The G-Shock DW-5600BBR-1 is priced at £99.90 on Casio’s UK website. It is also confirmed to be a limited edition. Casio has not confirmed if it will launch in Japan or other regions.
In other news, Casio has teamed up with lifestyle brand MondaySleepingClub to give its DW-5600 watch a fresh green update. The result is the G-Shock DW-5610UU-3PRM, a model currently exclusive to China. It comes with a green resin case, a bio-based strap featuring the phrase “Sleep Well, Stay Healthy,” and themed packaging.
