Motorola has made its entry into the personal computing segment with the launch of its first laptop, the Moto Book 60, available exclusively in India. This marks a significant step in expanding its ecosystem and bringing its design-centric approach to a new category. The Moto Book 60 offers a blend of premium design and robust performance, aimed at professionals, students, and creators. Alongside the laptop, Motorola has also introduced the Moto Pad 60 Pro.

Moto Book 60 Specifications

The Moto Book 60 features a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with Dolby Vision, HDR, and TÜV certifications, offering vibrant, eye-friendly visuals. It supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and a 120Hz refresh rate. Housed in a sleek, military-grade (MIL-STD-810H) all-metal body weighing 1.39kg, it’s available in Pantone-curated Bronze Green and Wedgewood.

The laptop is powered by Intel’s latest Core 5 210H and Core 7 240H processors, paired with 16GB DDR5 RAM (upgradeable to 32GB) and up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. It runs on Windows 11 Home and comes bundled with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2024.

The Moto Book 60 equips Smart Connect, Motorola’s multi-device sync solution. This includes features like Smart Clipboard, Swipe to Share, and File Transfer, allowing seamless interaction with Motorola smartphones and tablets.

Connectivity-wise, the device supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and offers a wide range of I/O ports: two USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1, two USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 (with DisplayPort 1.4), HDMI, microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The laptop sports stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 1080p IR webcam with a privacy shutter, dual mics, and a large 60Wh battery with 65W fast charging via USB-C.

The Moto Book 60 is available in three configurations:

Intel Core 7 (16GB RAM + 512GB SSD)

  • Regular Price: Rs. 78,990 ($922)
  • Launch Price: Rs. 73,999 ($864)

The laptop will be available starting April 23, 2025, across Flipkart, Motorola.in, and leading offline retail stores. EMI options up to 12 months are also available, with No Cost EMI plans starting at just Rs. 5,167/month ($60).
