Honor has been consistently launching flagship-grade phones in China. Earlier this month, it unveiled the Honor Power, equipped with an 8,000mAh battery, and it is scheduled to unveil the Honor GT Pro featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite and a 7,200mAh battery tomorrow. In between, the brand has announced the Honor X60 GT, equipped with an older Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, in China today. Continue reading to know everything about this new phone.

The highlight of the Honor X60 GT is its 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2664 x 1200 pixels. The screen supports 10-bit colors, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and 5000nits of peak brightness. The X60 GT is an IP65-rated phone with a slim profile of 7.7mm and a weight of 193g. 

The Honor X60 GT is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a massive 6,300mAh battery, using Honor’s Qinghai Lake battery technology, with support for 80W fast charging. According to Honor, the phone can charge from 0 to full in approximately 45 minutes using the included charger. The phone ships with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. 

On the camera front, the X60 GT sports a dual rear setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16-megapixel front camera. The phone runs on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15. 

In terms of connectivity, the Honor X60 GT offers a comprehensive set of features, which includes dual SIM 5G standby, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, dual-frequency GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. For security, it features an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

The Honor X60 GT comes in Titanium Shadow Silver, Titanium Shadow Blue, and Phantom Night Black. It has arrived in China in three options: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB. These variants are priced at 1,799 Yuan (~$246), 1,999 Yuan (~$275), and 2,399 Yuan (~$330), respectively. There’s no clarity whether this phone will be released in markets outside of China.
