Huawei has officially launched the Enjoy 80 in China as the first Enjoy 80-series phone in China. While it doesn’t support 5G, the device brings solid features at an affordable price point. The Enjoy 80 is now available for purchase in China in multiple variants. Read on to learn all about this new budget-friendly phone.

The Huawei Enjoy 80 comes with a 6.67-inch LCD HD+ display with a 1604 x 720 resolution, supporting a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits peak brightness. For security, it features a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood, the Enjoy 80 is believed to be powered by the good old Kirin 710A processor. As expected, this is a 4G-only chipset, but it aims to balance performance with power efficiency. The phone runs on HarmonyOS 4.0 and includes 8GB of RAM, with storage options going up to 512GB.

The Enjoy 80 packs a massive 6,620mAh battery paired with 40W fast charging. On the camera front, it features a 50-megapixel single rear camera for basic photography needs and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.

The device offers IP64-rated dust and water resistance. It includes features like Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IR blaster. However, NFC is not supported. The phone also sports a special Enjoy X Key on the side for quick access. The standard version measures 8.25mm thick and weighs 203g, while the plain leather variant is slightly thicker at 8.33mm and heavier at 206g.

The Huawei Enjoy 80 is already on sale in China. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at 1,199 Yuan (~$165), the 8GB + 256GB model costs 1,399 Yuan (~$192), and the top-end 8GB + 512GB version is available for 1,699 Yuan (~$233). The Enjoy 80 is offered in four color options: Sky Blue, Sky White, Yaojin Black, and Wilderness Green. There is currently no word on whether it will be launched in global markets.
