Honor has just released its latest flagship smartphone that packs cutting edge tech and some monstrous specifications. The Honor GT Pro made its debut with Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon chip and a humongous battery pack, so here’s its specs, features, pricing, and more.
Honor GT Pro: What makes it special?
The Chinese brand’s new GT Pro model sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 4320Hz PWM dimming, 6000 nits of peak brightness, and 2,700Hz touch sampling rate. Honor is also offering the new Oasis eye protection technology, and reinforces the screen with a Kunlun like glass for durability. Under the hood, the device is equipped with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 internal storage.
A gigantic 7,200mAh battery pack powers the Honor GT Pro, which supports 90W wired fast charging. The device also features a self developed chip for voltage regulation and Honor E2 chip for enhanced energy efficiency. Thanks to the Honor Phantom Engine, the device also uses AI to offer flagship level record battery life. For photography, the rear has a triple camera setup with a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and 200MP telephoto shooter.
The main and telephoto offer OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) with the zoom lens bringing 3x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom. Meanwhile, the front houses a 50MP selfie shooter. Other notable features include Android 15 OS based MagicOS 9.0 custom skin out of the box, WiFi 7, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, stereo speakers, and an IR sensor.
Pricing, Colors, and Availability
The Honor GT Pro was just announced in three color options, namely Ice Crystal White, Phantom Black, and Ignition Gold. Notably, the Honor GT Pro arrives with a charging brick in the box, a soft case, and a pre-applied protective film. IT is also available in four storage configurations, so here are its pricing:
- 12GB + 256GB – 3,699 Yuan (~505 US Dollars)
- 12GB + 512GB – 3,999 Yuan (~547 US Dollars)
- 16GB + 512GB – 4,299 Yuan (~588 US Dollars)
- 16GB + 1TB – 4,799 Yuan (~656 US Dollars)
Honor is even offering a flat 500 Yuan discount on every variant as a part of its introductory launch price.
