On April 17, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy M56 5G in India and now it is available for purchase through platforms like Amazon, Samsung’s website, and retail stores. The handset comes with a 120Hz AMOLED display, an Exynos chip, a 50-megapixel triple camera unit, and a decent battery all housed in a 7.2mm slim chassis. Here’s a look at the pricing and specifications of the device.

The Galaxy M56 5G has arrived in India in two options, such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. These variants are priced at Rs 27,999 and Rs 30,999, respectively. However, the introductory offer of Rs 3,000 instant bank discount slashes the prices of these variants to Rs 24,999 and Rs 27,999, respectively.

The Galaxy M56 5G is equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, supporting a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1200nits of peak brightness. It also benefits from Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for added durability.
Powering the Galaxy M56 is Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1480 processor, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging support.
On the camera front, users get a triple rear camera setup that includes an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro unit. The front camera features a 12-megapixel sensor, ideal for selfies and video calls. The smartphone runs One UI 7 based on Android 15 and is expected to receive six years of OS and security updates, offering excellent long-term support.
