Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge, the new ultra-slim contender in the flagship S25 lineup, has surfaced in a video as a plastic dummy unit, shown side-by-side with the Galaxy S25 Ultra to highlight the design differences. Set for a May 13, 2025, unveiling, this device promises a 5.84mm profile. Sales are expected to begin in South Korea on May 23 and in the US on May 30.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is no stranger to the spotlight, having been displayed at Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this year and in Samsung’s MWC 2025 booth, where its razor-thin design drew crowds, even if hands-on was off-limits. Now, this video reveals a bit more about the phone’s appearance. The S25 Edge is only slightly shorter than the top-of-the-line S25 Ultra and is reportedly positioned just below it in terms of pricing.

Unfortunately, the camera setup isn’t as versatile as the Ultra or even the Plus model — a clear downside of the slim form factor. It also lacks a telephoto lens, unlike the recently launched OnePlus 13T. The S25 Edge’s 5.84mm thickness makes it Samsung’s slimmest flagship yet, a refreshing departure from bulkier phones, though it skips a zoom camera to stay svelte.

Sporting a 6.7-inch 1440p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the S25 Edge packs the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, matching its S25 siblings, with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Its dual rear camera setup features a 200MP primary sensor and a 12MP or 50MP ultrawide, plus a 12MP front camera, all enhanced by Galaxy AI features like Photo Assist. The 3,900mAh battery supports 25W charging, a trade-off for its slimness.
Set to launch on May 13 via an online-only event, the S25 Edge hits South Korea first, followed by the US, with pricing rumored at €1,200-€1,400 (~₹1,12,000-₹1,30,000). Availability beyond these markets remains unclear, with Samsung reportedly producing just 40,000 units initially to test demand. With its titanium frame and colors like Titanium Icy Blue, this phone’s a bold bet on style. Will it go global? Stay tuned.
