OnePlus has dropped the price of the Watch 3 in the U.S. from $499.99 to $349.99, just weeks after launch. The smartwatch is now listed at a lower price on the OnePlus U.S. website.
At launch, the OnePlus Watch 3 was priced higher in the U.S. compared to other regions. OnePlus said the higher price was because of “current market conditions.” After re-evaluating and adjusting its supply chain, OnePlus has now made $349.99 the final price. The company confirmed there are no plans for more price changes.
Refunds for Early Buyers
OnePlus also said it will refund $150 to customers who bought the Watch 3 at the original $499.99 price. Refunds will go back to the original payment method. Affected buyers will be contacted directly by OnePlus customer support.
The company said the price correction is based on supply chain improvements and aims to keep things fair for early customers.
In other news, OnePlus has officially confirmed the OnePlus 13s, revealing its design, display, and chipset. The phone will come in Black Velvet and Pink Satin colors, with a 6.32-inch AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
