Alienware AW3425DW Specifications

The AW3425DW comes with a 240Hz refresh rate, marking a significant step up from the previous generation’s 175Hz, and delivers 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time for near-instant pixel transitions. It supports Nvidia G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and VESA AdaptiveSync, ensuring smooth, tear-free visuals across a wide range of systems.

The display equips a Gen 2 QD-OLED panel that enhances thermal efficiency and panel longevity using a graphene-based heatsink, which helps reduce the risk of burn-in. It also supports HDR content, offering 1000 nits of peak brightness in a 3% window, while typical SDR brightness reaches 250 nits. The panel covers the DCI-P3 color gamut with 10-bit color depth, delivering vivid and accurate color reproduction whether you’re gaming or editing.

Connectivity-wise, the AW3425DW sports two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB hub that includes Type-A, Type-B, and USB-C (15W charging). All ports are capable of pushing the full resolution at 240Hz, thanks to support for FRL and DSC.

It adopts Alienware’s refreshed AW30 design language, finished in a stylish Interstellar Indigo colorway. The chassis integrates customizable AlienFX RGB lighting, controlled via the Alienware Command Center software. The display also comes with an anti-reflective coating that helps to reduce glare without affecting color accuracy.

Pricing and Availability

Initially launched in China for 6,499 yuan (approximately $900), the AW3425DW enters the US market at a more competitive $799.99, available exclusively through Dell’s official platform. Global availability is yet to be confirmed.
