Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Dual-Zone Washer Pro, a premium smart washer-dryer that features a stacked dual-drum design in a compact 10kg form factor. It includes a 10kg main drum for regular laundry and a dedicated smaller drum for delicate items such as undergarments or sportswear. The appliance goes on sale starting May 13, priced at 5,499 yuan ($760), with a subsidized starting price of 4,399 yuan ($608).

The machine equips a Blue Oxygen Care Wash system that uses active oxygen to penetrate fabric fibers, helping remove yellowing and stains while reducing color transfer in mixed loads. It also supports steam sterilization that eliminates 99.99% of bacteria, viruses like H1N1 and HPV-16, and allergens, backed by medical-grade hygiene certifications for both drums.
It sports a triple-route automatic detergent dispensing system that intelligently measures detergent, softener, and innerwear cleanser, adjusting doses based on fabric and load. A single refill lasts up to one month. The washer also features Xiaomi’s HyperOS, enabling AI-powered load detection, environmental sensing, and weather-adaptive washing programs.
The unit comes with dual water inlets and drainage systems, preventing contamination between the two tubs. It’s powered by a DD (direct-drive) inverter motor with an advanced dual suspension system and an eccentricity detection algorithm that minimizes vibration and noise.
It features a 12-minute quick wash, high-pressure pet hair removal, and a Smart Fresh Air mode that kicks in automatically if clothes sit idle post-cycle. The washer also equips a vibrant full-touch display with unified controls for both drums and supports XiaoAI voice commands, OTA updates, and AloT smart home connectivity.
In related news, Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Water Purifier S1 (1000G), featuring a smart touch faucet, 2.78L/min high flow rate, and HyperOS integration. The company also introduced a new smart skipping rope equipped with a display and weighted balls, priced at just $13.
