The Smooth 5E features a true 3-axis orthogonal structure, providing smoother, more stable footage across a wider range of motion. It equips an enhanced roll-axis motor, which makes low-angle shots and wide-angle selfies easy to capture without frame obstruction. The design supports five classic gimbal modes: Follow, Pan Follow, Lock, Vortex, and POV, enabling creative shot variety that mirrors professional filmmaking styles.
It sports an integrated high-CRI fill light that outputs 680 lux of brightness by default, with magnetic mounts that allow two additional lights for a combined 2040 lux. Whether you’re shooting at dusk or indoors, the lighting setup ensures your subject always stands out.
The gimbal comes with intelligent AI-powered tracking via an optional magnetic module that enables fast, accurate face and object detection. It also supports gesture control, letting users initiate tracking with a simple hand signal, perfect for solo content creators who need to stay in frame without constantly reaching for controls.
It integrates seamlessly with Apple’s ecosystem, allowing remote control through the Apple Watch, so users can track, zoom, and trigger the shutter right from their wrist.
