Acer has already announced a series of new AI powered products in the ongoing Computex 2025 event. Among the various launches, the Acer AI TransBuds standout as a pretty handy gadget. These earbuds utilizes artificial intelligence to make multilingual communication easier.
Acer AI TransBuds: Breaking down the language barrier in conversations
The Taiwanese tech giant unveiled the AI TransBuds as a pair of lightweight and compact earbuds that can be paired with a smartphone or tablet via a plug-in receiver. Once connected, the earbuds are capable of real time two way voice translation by employing AI powered technology to allow speech recognition and semantic analysis. This makes it quite useful in breaking down the language barrier in communication.
Apart from just real time translation, the Acer AI TransBuds also come with support for live captioning and transcription. In other words, your conversation can be noted down and stored, allowing you to review it later on. The company claims that the AI powered system currently supports 15 major languages that are spoken across Asia, Europe, and even North and South America.
Unfortunately, Acer has yet to announce the pricing and availability details regarding these AI earbuds. In related news, the company also unveiled the Acer FreeSense Ring, which is another AI powered smart ring that will take on the Galaxy Ring and Oura Ring. There was also the new ultra lightweight Swift Edge 14 AI that weighs less than 1kg and has a 3K OLED display. Similarly, the Aspire 16 AI laptops are an AI enabled notebook series that comes in the Intel Core Ultra, AMD Ryzen AI, and Snapdragon X platforms.
