Sony has launched its new Bravia 2 II series in India, offering 4K resolution, enhanced audio, and smart features across multiple screen sizes. The TVs are available in 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch options. All models run on the Sony X1 Picture Processor, which uses advanced algorithms to reduce noise and sharpen details. The built-in 4K X-Reality PRO upscales Full HD and 2K content close to 4K. Motionflow XR technology adds extra frames to deliver smooth visuals in fast-paced scenes.
The series has 20W open baffle down-firing twin speakers, backed by Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Clear Phase technology adjusts audio frequencies for balanced sound. For smart features, the TVs run on Google TV, which pulls content from multiple apps and subscriptions and arranges it in one place. Users can search using voice commands with Google Assistant. Watchlists can be managed across devices, including phones and laptops. The TVs also support Apple AirPlay and HomeKit for streaming from iPhones and iPads.
The Bravia 2 II series is designed with ultra-slim bezels and a minimalist look. For gaming, it includes Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) via HDMI 2.1, which kicks in when a gaming console is turned on. With a PlayStation 5, Auto HDR Tone Mapping optimizes visuals during setup, and the TV automatically switches between Game Mode and Standard Mode based on the content.
The TVs come with access to Sony Pictures Core, offering five movie credits and up to 12 months of access to 100 rotating Sony Pictures titles. Pure Stream enables HDR streaming at up to 80 Mbps, close to 4K UHD Blu-ray quality. A voice-enabled remote is included, and the TVs feature X-Protection PRO for added durability.
