Marshall has launched the Kilburn III, the latest version of its portable Bluetooth speaker. It offers over 50 hours of battery life, which is more than double the playtime of the previous model. The speaker is built for durability, sound performance, and everyday use.

The Kilburn III features 360° True Stereophonic sound powered by one 4-inch woofer and two 2-inch full-range speakers. It uses one 30W Class D amplifier for the woofer and two 10W Class D amplifiers for the full-range drivers. It reaches a maximum sound pressure level of 91 dB SPL at 1 meter. The cabinet has a bass reflex system for improved low-end output.

The speaker supports Bluetooth 5.3 with multipoint connectivity and has a wireless range of up to 10 meters. It also includes a 3.5 mm AUX input for wired use. Supported audio codecs include SBC, LC3, and MPEG-2 AAC. There are no built-in microphones.

Top panel controls include volume, bass, treble, power, media jog, Bluetooth pairing, and a mode (M) button. The speaker also functions as a charging bank and can charge other devices via USB-C.
It is IP54-rated for dust and water resistance. The battery is rechargeable and replaceable. With a 30W USB-C PD charger, 20 minutes of charging gives 8 hours of playtime. A full charge takes about 3 hours. Power input options are USB-C 9V/3A and 5V/3A.
Dimensions are 273 x 150 x 169 mm, and the weight is 2.8 kg. The speaker is available in Black and Brass or Cream finishes. It is made using 38 percent recycled materials. It also supports the Marshall Bluetooth app.
Price and Availability
The Kilburn III is priced at €349. It is now available on Marshall’s website and will be available at retailers starting June 10.
