Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Redmi Pad 2 will launch in India on June 5, 2025. The upcoming Android tablet is being promoted with the tagline “Built For More,” and its Amazon landing page is now live, offering a glimpse of what users can expect.

According to the teaser, the tablet will feature a longer battery life, a bigger and richer display, and a lightweight, compact design, positioning it as a bridge between phones and laptops. The listing hints at strong multimedia capabilities and extended usability for work or entertainment.

Both 4G + WiFi and WiFi-only variants have received BIS certification in India, confirming that Indian consumers will have multiple connectivity options. While these listings didn’t confirm specs, they indicated a global launch rollout.
With the India launch now confirmed, more details about the tablet’s specs and pricing are expected in the next few days. Full information will be available post-launch.
Earlier Leaks Reveal Full Specs and Features Ahead of Launch
Ahead of the official launch, a Brazilian YouTube channel TukEmperial, posted an unboxing and hands-on video of the Redmi Pad 2, revealing its full specifications. The video shows the tablet packaging, including a USB-C cable, 18W charger, manuals, and a tool for the SIM/memory card tray.

The tablet features an 11-inch IPS display with 2.5K resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It includes four Dolby Atmos speakers and is powered by a Helio G100 Ultra processor, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, with a 4GB variant also confirmed.
The device scored 400,000 on AnTuTu and performed well on games like Asphalt 9 and Call of Duty. It houses a 9,000mAh battery, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, a microSD slot, a headphone jack, and runs Android 15 with HyperOS and Circle to Search support.
