Nothing is gearing up to unveil its most ambitious smartphone yet, the Nothing Phone (3), with an official launch date locked in for July 1. The Nothing Phone (3) is set to be the London-based brand’s most premium offering to date, moving away from its mid-range roots. Confirmed via Nothing’s official X account, the phone will hit the stage on July 1, possibly in Black and White color options. Leaks suggest a starting price of $799 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model, with the 16GB/512GB version priced at $899. That’s a hair cheaper than the OnePlus 13, positioning the Phone (3) as a serious player in the high-end market.
What’s got everyone talking, though, is the uncertainty around the chipset. Some reports, including a tweet from leaker Yogesh Brar, point to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a powerhouse seen in other 2024 flagships. But other sources claim that’s not the case, leaving the Snapdragon 8 Elite or the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 as likely candidates. The choice of processor will be key, as phones in this price range—around $799 to $899—are expected to deliver top-tier performance for gaming, multitasking, and AI-driven features.
While Nothing is keeping tight-lipped on the specs, the Phone (3) is rumored to sport a 6.77-inch LTPO AMOLED display, a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. With its signature transparent design and a possible shift away from the Glyph interface, the Nothing Phone (3) is shaping up to be a bold, premium contender.
