Casio has just released a bunch of new classic G-Shocks in a refreshing new color. The Black and Bold Red series of watches is available in multiple G-Shock lineups, including the iconic Casio DW-5600BBR-1, GA-B2100BBR-1A, GD-010BBR-1JF, GA-700BBR-1AJF, and GX-56BBR-1A. G-Shock Goes Dark with new Black & Bold Red
The company had first unveiled the Black and Bold Red G-Shock series in the Japanese market, but its now being launched in the US. As the name suggests, the Casio watches feature an all-black colored chassis and strap, which is contrasted with a striking red on the displays. This design philosophy is consistent between the different digital and analog style G-Shocks. So you can see the matte black body and red displays on every model.
Apart from the new hue, the G-Shock watches still retain their original specs. In other words, you can expect to find key specs like the 200 meter water resistance, shock resistance, world time, stopwatch, and more. Some models even come with solar charging and smartphone sync technology as well (via Bluetooth). As of right now, the Black and Bold Red G-Shock is rolling out globally. The Casio DW-5600BBR-1, GD010BBR-1, and GA700BBR-1A G-Shocks arrive with a 99 US Dollar price tag. On the other hand, the GX56BBR-1 and GAB2100BBR-1A watch models are currently listed for 150 US Dollars.
