The London-based tech brand just confirmed the launch of their first over-ear headphones, dubbed Nothing Headphone (1), set to drop at a big event in July. With a sleek design and a hyped-up audio partnership, these headphones are already sparking curiosity among Nothing fans.

The Nothing Headphone (1) will be unveiled alongside the Nothing Phone (3) on July 1 at 6 PM BST in London, which translates to 10 AM in Los Angeles, 1 PM in New York, 7 PM in Central Europe, and 10:30 PM in India. Announced by CEO Carl Pei at SXSW London, this global event marks Nothing’s bold entry into the premium over-ear audio space. The company has teamed up with British audio giant KEF, known for its top-notch sound quality, hinting that the Headphone (1) could deliver a serious sonic punch.

Nothing Headphone (1) fan concept

Nothing previously made some bold promises for its Headphone (1). While specifics are still under wraps, the KEF collaboration suggests these headphones might rival heavyweights like Apple’s AirPods Max, but with Nothing’s signature transparent aesthetic.

Rumors from earlier this year, sparked by a listing on the SGS Fimko certification site, first hinted at Nothing’s headphone plans, and now it’s official. However, there’s a bit of a twist—while the unveiling is set for July 1, a leak from tipster @MysteryLupin suggests the Headphone (1) might not hit shelves until September, with a price tag around $299. That’s a steal compared to premium competitors, if true. Expect black and white color options, possibly with a gray variant, keeping Nothing’s minimalist vibe.

With the Phone (3) already pegged as a flagship contender, the Headphone (1) launch adds extra excitement to Nothing’s July event.
