TCL is expanding its 2025 Mini LED TV lineup with the global launch of the new C6K Premium QD-Mini LED series, targeting consumers who want a premium big-screen experience without stepping into flagship pricing. The C6K series arrives in both Asian and European markets and shares much of its DNA with the QM6K series TCL sells in the US.

TCL C6K QD-Mini LED Specifications
The series comes in five sizes, starting from 55 inches and stretching all the way up to 98 inches. Each model is powered by TCL’s QD-Mini LED backlight system, which combines Quantum Dot color reproduction with Mini LED backlighting for improved brightness, deeper contrast, and better halo control compared to traditional LED TVs. The 75-inch model tops out at 512 local dimming zones, with a native contrast ratio of 7000:1 thanks to an advanced HVA panel.
TCL is also pushing gaming performance hard here. The C6K supports a native 4K 144Hz refresh rate, VRR, MEMC 120Hz, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for smooth, tear-free gameplay. TCL’s Game Master suite further adds Gamebar, Superwide Gameview, and optimizations for ultra-low latency.
For content consumption, the C6K covers 93 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and HLG. The TVs are also IMAX Enhanced certified and TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light. TCL says its AiPQ Pro processor dynamically adjusts contrast, sharpness, and color in real time for optimized picture quality across SDR and HDR content.
Sound is handled by an integrated Onkyo 2.1-channel system that includes a dedicated subwoofer. The TV also supports both Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X for immersive surround sound. On the smart side, the C6K runs the Google TV platform with built-in Google Assistant support, kid profiles, art gallery modes, and even an AI art generator.
From a hardware standpoint, TCL is also touting significant advancements in backlight control with its All-domain Halo Control Technology, new condensed micro lens, and improved Micro-OD optical layer, all designed to combat blooming and improve light uniformity. Motion clarity is further enhanced with optimized transient response to minimize ghosting during fast-moving scenes.
Connectivity includes HDMI 2.1, HDMI 2.0 ports, and support for Google Meet video calls (with an external camera). Despite its advanced display technology, TCL has managed to keep the C6K chassis impressively thin, with most models coming in at under 60mm in thickness for seamless wall mounting.
