Anker has officially launched the S1 power bank in the Chinese market. It is available in black and white color options, priced at 299 yuan ($42).

Anker S1 Power Bank Specifications

The Anker S1 includes a 10,000mAh battery with a rated capacity of 5,800mAh. It features a compact design, measuring 81.5 x 50.5 x 36mm and weighing 235g. The body size is comparable to a small makeup case, making it easy to carry in a pocket or small bag.

Anker has equipped the power bank with its proprietary 4S InstaCord retractable cable system. The built-in 70cm USB-C cable can withstand more than 20,000 pulls and 20,000 swings, according to Anker’s durability tests. The cable supports up to 45W fast charging and retracts automatically when not in use.

In addition to the retractable cable, the S1 includes one USB-C port and one USB-A port. Both USB-C outputs support 45W power delivery, while the USB-A port supports up to 22.5W. When multiple ports are used at the same time, the total output is limited to 24W. The USB-C port also supports 30W fast input for recharging the power bank.

The front of the device hides a TFT display beneath the surface. The screen activates during charging to show real-time output power, remaining battery percentage, and internal temperature. The display adds functionality while keeping the design clean and minimal.

Anker has implemented a three-layer thermal management system in the S1. The system uses low-resistance MOSFETs, graphene thermal sheets, and aerogel insulation materials. This setup helps manage heat during high-speed charging and protects the battery’s health.

The power bank supports a wide range of devices, including iPhones, iPads, Android smartphones, laptops, Nintendo Switch, wireless earbuds, and smartwatches. Anker claims the S1 can charge an iPhone 16 Pro to 50% in just 27 minutes. For older Apple models or Lightning-based devices, a separate Lightning cable version is available.

In related news, Pitaka recently introduced a new magnetic power bank made from aramid fiber, featuring Qi2 support and 15W wireless charging. Meanwhile, Baseus has launched a 10,000mAh power bank equipped with 22.5W fast charging, an LED display, and a built-in charging cable.
