Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 has broken cover in a new set of renders. The images comes cortesy of OnLeaks and Android Headlines revealing the left and right of the foldable.
No surprises, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 follows Samsung’s established design language. This time, the focus is on slimness, and it’s pretty apparent in the image below.

The Fold 6 measured 12.1mm when closed. However, the Fold 7 looks noticeably slimmer in these new renders. It’s hard to pin down the numbers from images alone, but earlier reports point to a 4mm thickness when unfolded and some 8.2mm thickness when folded.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 has a new Blue variant
While the overall body is slim, the Fold 7 has a noticeably protruding camera module. It is expected to house the same 200MP main sensor seen in the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition. In comparison, its predecessor has a 50MP sensor.
The main lens will be joined by a 12MP ultrawide, a 10MP 3x telephoto, and a 4MP under-display selfie camera inside. The outer selfie camera will reportedly remain at 10MP.

Color-wise, Samsung seems ready to move away from its usual grayscale palette. Alongside a standard black model, there’s a new “Blue Shadow” variant—a metallic, saturated finish that’s more eye-catching than anything Samsung’s offered in this category recently. Other colors are reportedly on the way, though nothing has been confirmed.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Fold 7 at its Galaxy Unpacked event in New York on July 9th, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the next Galaxy Watch lineup.
Both Vivo and Honor have also announced their respective foldable launch in late June and early July. So it will be interesting to see if Samsung’s entry can match up against Chinese offerings and vice versa.
