Amazfit has just launched the Helio Strap, a unique new wearable that takes a minimalist approach to fitness tracking. Unlike most smart bands, the Helio Strap doesn’t feature a display, instead focusing on advanced motion sensors and smart health tracking. So let’s check it out.
Amazfit Helio Strap Launched with No Display, Health Tracking, & Long Battery Life
The known wearables maker just announced the Helio Strap in the Chinese market with an unintrusive design that removes the display entirely (Via NotebookCheck). This allows it to achieve a lightweight 20-gram body, which doesn’t skip out on the smart health trackers found on typical smart bands. The Amazfit Helio Strap features 24/7 health monitoring for heart rate, blood pressure, sleep, and even SpO2 blood oxygen levels.

Amazfit packs this fitness band with its new BioCharge energy monitoring score, which analyses the user’s energy levels to offer different intensities for workouts. There is even support for 27 sports modes. Another notable addition is the Hyrox Competition Mode that can track performance in fitness races to offer post training analysis. This information can be accessed via Apple Health as well as the Zepp app. On a single full charge, the Amazfit Helio Strap can offer up to 10 days of battery life.
Other notable features include magnetic charging, a 5ATM waterproof rating, and a breathable nylon wristband. As of right now, the Amazfit Helio Strap is available for purchase in China for 699 Yuan (roughly 97 US Dollars). We can expect a global launch to follow soon, so stick around for more. This release also arrives mere days after the Amazfit Active 2 Square smartwatch’s release.
