Oppo is reportedly preparing to expand its K-series lineup with the introduction of two new models under a “Turbo” branding. According to a new leak, the upcoming Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro are scheduled to launch in China this July.

Word for this comes from a reliable insider, Digital Chat Station, who claims both phones will feature a 6.8-inch LTPS flat display with a 1.5K resolution. They’ll also share the same camera hardware, with a 50MP + 2MP dual setup on the back, and a 16MP front-facing camera.

The real difference lies under the hood

The two models might differ in chipset and cooling approach. The standard Oppo K13 Turbo is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 8450. Whereas, the higher-end K13 Turbo Pro will reportedly use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, Qualcomm’s sub-flagship SoC.

The Pro variant is also tipped to include an active cooling fan to help sustain performance during gaming or heavy multitasking sessions.

As for aesthetics, both models will come in three colorways. The K13 Turbo is said to be available in Knight White, Black Warrior, and First Purple, while the Turbo Pro swaps white for Knight Silver, keeping the other two shades.

The phones are also expected to feature larger-than-average batteries, though exact capacities weren’t detailed in the leak.

A separate report has revealed more about the Turbo Pro, claiming that the cooling fan will be integrated directly into the camera module. An alleged hands-on image of the K13 Turbo in its Purple finish also recently surfaced online, showing off the phone’s design.

The phone is also said to include RGB lighting, an IPX8 water resistance rating, a plastic mid-frame, and a short-focus optical fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
