Lenovo has just introduced the Chromebook Plus 14, a new ChromeOS powered laptop. It boasts a vibrant OLED display and is the first ever Chromebook to feature an audio setup tuned with Dolby Atmos. So here are all the details.

As the name suggests, the Chinese tech giant’s latest Chromebook Plus 14 sports a 14-inch display on the front. This is a touch enabled panel with a WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) and 60Hz refresh rate. So you can expect vibrant colors on this screen. Pairing the great visual setup, Lenovo also adds four 2W speakers that are tuned with Dolby Atmos. This collaboration makes it the first Chromebook of its kind.

Under the hood, the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 is equipped with the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 SoC, which is paired with an integrated ARM Mali G52 graphics and an NPU that delivers an impressive 50TOPS of performance. The processor is coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS storage. It runs on the ChromeOS out of the box. Connectivity options include 1x USB-A 3.2, 2x USB-C 3.2 (DisplayPort support), a 3.5mm audio jack, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.

Lenovo claims that the device can run for up to 12 hours on a single full charge. The Chromebook Plus 14 is built using an aluminum chassis that weighs around 1.25 kilograms. It has a starting price tag of 649.99 US Dollars and can be purchased from the brand’s official website. This announcement also arrives mere days after the company announced the Lenovo Xiaoxin desktop PC.
