But ahead of the official announcement, the company has just confirmed some battery and charging specs of the budget focused Nord CE 5 model. OnePlus Nord CE 5 with the Biggest Battery Yet
To recall, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 is set to debut with the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex SoC. While it appears similar to the China exclusive Ace 5 Racing Edition, there are some differences in specs on the global version like its chipset. But one notable feature retained across both variants is the humongous battery capacity. OnePlus confirmed that the Nord CE 5 also packs a 7,100mAh battery.
To put things into perspective, the iPhone 16 Pro is believed to house a 3,582mAh cell. So the OnePlus Nord CE 5 nearly doubles its capacity. Just like the OnePlus 13s, the Nord CE 5 supports 80W wired fast charging (SuperVOOC). An impressive claim from the Chinese brand is that you can get over 6 hours of content consumption on YouTube with just 10 minutes of charging.
That’s not all, the device comes with the Bypass Charging technology, which is a feature that allows the phone to draw power directly from the charger instead of the battery while gaming.
