Motorola recently confirmed that it will unveil the Moto G96 5G on July 9 in India. Now, the phone is officially listed on Motorola India’s website, revealing its entire specifications and features. Continue reading ahead to know everything about the G96.
Moto G96 5G specifications
As per the official listing, the Moto G96 5G will feature a 6.67-inch P-OLED panel with a curved-edge design. The screen will offer an FHD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, 1600 nits brightness, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It will have a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.
The Moto G96 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. It will come with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It will pack a 5,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
On the front, the Moto G96 will feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Its rear camera setup will house a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700C primary camera with OIS support and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, which can also be used for macro shots.
The Moto G96 5G will run on Android 15 and is promised to receive one OS upgrade and three years of security updates. It will offer other features, such as Dolby Atmos-powered dual speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C, and an IP68-rated chassis. It will measure 7.93mm in thickness and weigh 179 grams.
Moto G96 5G variants, color options
The brand is yet to confirm the Moto G96 5G’s price. When it hits the Indian market, it will be available in four Pantone shades: Dresden Blue, Ashleigh Blue, Cattleya Orchid, and Greener Pasture. The phone will be sold via Flipkart in two configurations: 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB.
