GPD MicroPC 2 Specifications
The MicroPC 2 improves on the original MicroPC model released in 2019 by offering a larger display, faster performance, and a more modern design. The 7-inch LTPS panel delivers a 1920×1080 resolution, 500 nits brightness, and supports 10-point touch. GPD has included a 360-degree rotating hinge and a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button. The device weighs 490g and measures 171.2 x 110.8 x 23.5mm.

The mini laptop runs on the Intel Processor N250, a quad-core chip built on Intel’s Gracemont architecture. It operates at a base TDP of 6W and can scale up to 15W, offering better efficiency and performance compared to the previous N4120 processor. The MicroPC 2 includes 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 4800 MT/s and a 512GB PCIe Gen3x4 SSD. GPD supports storage upgrades up to 8TB with double-sided M.2 2280 SSDs.
The device offers a comprehensive selection of ports, including two USB-C 3.2 Gen2 ports, two USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a microSD card reader, and a 2.5Gbps RJ45 Ethernet port. Both USB-C ports support DisplayPort 1.4 and fast charging. It can power up to three external 4K monitors at 60Hz. For wireless connectivity, it features Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

The MicroPC 2 features a rugged body made from LG-DOW 121H aviation-grade ABS resin, with a 1mm thickness that provides flame-retardant and heat-resistant protection. It is certified V-0 fireproof. The device is powered by a 27.5Wh battery that supports 45W PD fast charging and includes a battery bypass function for continuous operation while connected to a power source.
In China, the GPD MicroPC 2 ships with Windows 11 Pro and is designed as a portable workstation for technical users who need full desktop features in a highly compact form factor.
