Samsung‘s 7th-generation foldables are only hours away from their big reveal, and some leaked marketing materials have already confirmed key details. While most of the information in the alleged promo content aligns with earlier leaks and rumors, there’s a surprising twist — and it’s about the Flip7 FE. But for the uninitiated, let’s go through the basics first.

According to the alleged marketing material, the Galaxy Z Flip7 packs “the thinnest bezel on a Galaxy Z Flip to date,” reaffirming a recently leaked real-life image of the phone. It features a 4.1-inch cover display, per another leaked “official Samsung promo” shared by tipster Ronald Quandt. The promo refers to it as an “Infinity FlexWindow.”

Now, about that twist — the same promo material says the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, which is expected to be a rebranded Z Flip6 powered by the Exynos 2400, also includes a 4.1-inch cover display. The Flip6 had a 3.4-inch cover screen. If this holds true, the Flip7 FE could become a very appealing option for Galaxy fans, offering nearly identical hardware at a lower cost — save for the chipset swap from the Flip7’s Exynos 2500 to the FE’s Exynos 2400. Still, take it with a pinch of salt, as it sounds almost too good to be true. Most previous leaks and renders hinted at a Flip6-like design for the FE.

The Z Flip7 is said to feature a 4,300mAh battery, while the Flip7 FE sticks to a 4,000mAh unit — a reasonable trade-off. The standard Flip7 will reportedly come in three premium colors: Blue Shadow, Jet Black, and Silver Shadow. Meanwhile, the FE version will keep it simple with White and Black options.

Both phones are also set to feature the latest AI innovations from Samsung and Google. One of the alleged promo slides reads: “Don’t search, ask! Google Gemini gives you real-time answers to whatever you’re looking for.”

That said, we’ll have to wait until the official event for more concrete details. In the meantime, check out the details about the Z Fold7 here.
