Honor X70 design, battery, charging speed officially confirmed

The Honor X70 will arrive with an industry-leading 8,300mAh “Qinghai Lake” battery — the biggest battery seen in a mainstream smartphone to date. It is no slouch in the charging department, as it is confirmed to support 80W fast charging.
The fine print of the second image confirms that the 12GB+512GB edition of the Honor X70 will support 80W wireless charging. The launch date image confirms that the device has a flat display on the front and a round camera module on the back. It will be available in white, green, and red shades.
As per reports, despite packing a huge battery, the X70’s standard version measures 7.7mm in thickness and weighs 193 grams. On the other hand, the top model measures 7.9mm thick and weighs 199 grams.
A recent leak revealed that the X70 features a 6.79-inch 1.5K flat display with a resolution of 2640×1200 pixels. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip and comes with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The 50-megapixel rear camera supports optical image stabilization, while the front houses an 8-megapixel sensor. It is expected to run on MagicOS 9-based Android 15.
Rumors have claimed that Honor X70 Max is also in the works and will be arriving later, while no “Pro” version appears to be in the pipeline. Pricing details will be announced during the official unveiling, but it is expected to follow the accessible strategy of its predecessors, starting around 1,199 Yuan (~$167).
