As per the Weibo post by DCS, the Redmi Turbo 5 is reportedly being tested with a 6.6-inch display offering 1.5K resolution and a “large R-angle” screen, which refers to curved corners of the screen designed to improve grip and comfort.

Though marginally smaller than the 6.67-inch panel on the Turbo 4, the ergonomic improvements may appeal to both casual and productivity-focused users. In terms of materials, the Turbo 5 could introduce a metal middle frame, shifting away from plastic and giving the device a more refined, sturdy design.

Battery design is also getting attention. The Turbo 4 included a 6,550mAh battery with 90W charging, and early leaks indicate the Turbo 5 may retain a large battery while aiming for a thinner form factor. This suggests Xiaomi is focusing on balancing power and portability. With the inclusion of premium build elements, the Turbo 5 is shaping up to be a competitive option in the mid-range space, possibly targeting users who seek flagship features at an affordable price.

As far as the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro is concerned, it is expected to house a massive 8,000mAh+ battery. The Turbo 5 Pro is expected to go official in Q2 2026, whereas the Turbo 5 may debut at the start of 2026.
