Sonos has officially launched the Move 2 portable smart speaker in India, expanding its lineup of premium wireless audio products in the country. Priced as a high-end option for audiophiles on the go, the Sonos Move 2 brings impressive battery life with a new stereo audio setup and smart controls. So here’s everything you need to know.
Sonos Move 2 finally hits India: What does it offer?
The known audio maker dropped the latest portable Bluetooth speaker with an IP56 rated body for water and dust resistance. This makes it reliable for outdoor use and music on the go, thanks to its 3kg heft. Sonos built the Move 2 with sustainability in mind, with a removable and replaceable battery and recycled materials, along with sustainably sourced materials. Under the chassis, Sonos packs the Move 2 with dual tweeters and a woofer for an improved acoustic system.
On a single full charge, these portable speakers offer up to 24 hours of audio playback with 45W wired fast charging support. The company also brings various smart controls with a touch slider and voice controls, and connectivity options like Bluetooth, WiFi streaming, and stereo pairing. A quad core processor powers the Sonos Move 2, which is also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple AirPlay 2.
The new wireless portable speaker was just announced in three color options, namely Olive Green, White, and Black. Sonos’ latest Move 2 carries a 49,999 INR price tag and can be purchase from the brand’s official website, Amazon India, and other authorized retailers.
