Lava has introduced the Blaze Dragon 5G, its latest budget 5G smartphone, focused on delivering essential features with clean software. Designed for users looking for a balanced smartphone experience under ₹10,000, the phone combines a high refresh rate display, 5G connectivity, and a bloat-free Android 15 interface.

The Blaze Dragon 5G features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness exceeding 450 nits. It comes with an 8MP front camera placed in a notch and a 50MP rear camera with an LED flash. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner provides biometric security, and the device includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM Radio.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 4nm chipset. It has an octa-core CPU consisting of two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, along with an Adreno 613 GPU. It is paired with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, expandable via microSD. Virtual RAM expansion up to 4GB is also supported.

Running Android 15, the Blaze Dragon 5G offers a clean interface without bloatware. Lava has committed to one Android OS upgrade and two years of security updates. Connectivity options include 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS with GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

Pricing, availability & offers

The Blaze Dragon 5G is priced at ₹9,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant and will be available in Golden Mist and Midnight Mist colours. Sales begin August 1 at 12am on Amazon.in. Launch offers include ₹1,000 off through a bank offer and an additional ₹1,000 exchange discount. Lava is also providing Free Service@Home across India along with in-store service support.
