Xiaomi‘s budget-friendly Redmi lineup is about to get another refresh, and the latest leak gives us our first good look at the upcoming Redmi 15C 5G. Slated for a likely August launch alongside its siblings in the Redmi 15 series, the 15C 5G is a budget smartphone with no frills.
The new leak from XpertPick reveals that the Redmi 15C 5G will pack a 6.9-inch LCD with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

The front display has a waterdrop notch, and around the back, there’s a squircle-shaped camera module consisting of a single 50MP primary sensor.
Redmi 15C comes with a 6000mAh battery
Under the hood, we still don’t know what chipset will power the 15C 5G, though the standard Redmi 15 5G is rumored to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, while the 15C 4G variant will reportedly come with a Helio G81 chip.
Nevertheless, the 15C 5G will be available in two storage configurations, 4GB RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. Powering everything is a generous 6,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

Software-wise, it’s expected to run on Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0. The device also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometrics.
Design-wise, it keeps things colorful. According to the leak, it will ship in at least three colors: black, lavender, and green.
The Redmi 15 series is expected to launch in multiple markets, including Europe, sometime in August. With more details likely to surface in the coming weeks, we’ll be watching closely, and we’ll keep you posted as soon as we learn more.
