While the Galaxy S25 series debuted half a year ago, rumors of Samsung’s next flagship lineup have already been making the rounds online. But the S25 series has one more device in the pipeline, and the brand might be unveiling it sooner than initially expected. So here’s what we know about the launch window of the Galaxy S25 FE.
Samsung Hints at an Early Galaxy S25 FE Release
This news wasn’t shared in a rumor or leak, and comes directly from the brand. During the Q2 2025 earnings call, Daniel Araujo, the Vice President of Samsung’s Mobile Experience division stated that the Galaxy S25 FE will have an earlier launch. Unfortunately, the senior official did not reveal the exact launch date or timeline, however, the Android Authority report believes it might drop sometime in late August or early September.

For those unaware, Samsung’s FE (Fan Edition) family of smartphones are a part of its flagship Galaxy S lineup but offer high end specs and features at a more accessible price point. Based on what we know so far, the Galaxy S25 FE may feature a slimmer design and a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with thinner bezels.
The camera system is expected to be the same as its predecessor, packing a 50MP (Main) + 12MP (Ultra Wide) + 8MP (Telephoto) camera setup on the rear and a 12MP selfie shooter on the front. A 4,700mAh battery pack could power this model, with rumored fast charging rate matching the S25 Ultra (45W). Thanks to a GeekBench sighting, we expect the S25 FE to feature the Exynos 2400, 8GB of RAM and Android 16 OS out of the box.
