Lenovo is bringing a new tablet model to the Indian market that targets a broader audience. For under Rs 20,000, the Idea Tab brings a tall display with a high resolution, which even comes with stylus support. With a large battery and decent specs, Lenovo aims to bring great value to students, casual users, and others on a budget. To recall, the brand announced the Idea Tab along with the Idea Tab K11 Gen 2 globally back in May.

The Chinese tech giant’s latest tablet is a budget offering that focuses on offering a great visual experience. Its Idea Tab sports a tall 11-inch LCD panel with a high 2.5K resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels) with a 90Hz refresh rate, 500 nits of peak brightness, and TÜV eye care. Under the hood, it is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, which his paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB of internal storage. Users can expand the memory by up to 2TB via a microSD card slot.

For optics, the rear has an 8MP camera, while the front houses a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls. A sizeable 7040mAh battery pack powers the Lenovo Idea Tab, which supports 20W wired fast charging. This tablet runs on the Android 15 OS based ZUI 17 custom skin out of the box, with 2 years of major OS upgrades and 4 years of security patches. Other notable features include Bluetooth 5.2, AI powered tools, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Lenovo Idea Tab is only available in a single Luna Gray color variant and has a starting price tag of Rs 16,999 (roughly 194 US Dollars) for the WiFi only version with the stylus. On the other hand, the 5G enabled model with the pen costs Rs 19,999 (roughly 228 US Dollars). It is available for purchase via Amazon India and the brand’s official website.
