Honor has just announced a new budget phone in Europe that brings some serious battery power. The Honor 400 Smart 5G arrives as the latest entry in the brand’s affordable Honor 400 lineup that consists of the Honor 400 (Review), Honor 400 Pro, and Honor 400 Lite. So here’s everything new in this model.
New Budget Honor Phone Drops in Europe with Giant 6,500mAh Battery
The Honor 400 Smart has been unveiled with a design similar to the rest of the Honor 400 series. It sports a tall 6.77-inch LCD panel with an HD+ resolution (1610 x 720 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate, and 700 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the latest budget phone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

For photography, the rear has a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor, while the front houses a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls. But one of its most notable aspects is undoubtedly the massive battery pack. This model houses a 6,500mAh battery pack, which supports 35W wired fast charging as well. So one can easily expect full day battery life on a single full charge.
Despite the humongous battery size, the device measures just 8.39mm in thickness and weighs only 189 grams. Out of the box, the Honor 400 Smart runs on the Android 15 OS based Magic UI 9.0 custom skin with promises of five years of security patches. It is currently listed on Orange in Spain, with a wider European release expected to follow soon.
