Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10 FE, which hit shelves back in April with Android 15 and One UI 7, is already being spotted in the wild with a taste of its next big update.

Benchmark listing reveals the upgrade in progress

The 5G version of the tablet has appeared on Geekbench running an early build of One UI 8 based on Android 16. It managed 1,379 in single-core and 3,998 in multi-core tests. Those numbers are solid considering it’s pre-release software. This tablet runs on the Exynos 1580 chipset, an up grade over the Exynos 1380 of the Tab S9 FE. With final optimizations, performance should only get better.

While Samsung is busy testing One UI 8 internally across its Galaxy lineup, the Tab S10 FE isn’t part of the public beta. Instead, it’ll likely get the stable Android 16 update after the Galaxy S25 series kicks off the rollout in September. In the meantime, Samsung has been pushing regular security and stability patches to current owners.

The tablet comes with a 10.9-inch AMOLED display running at 90Hz, an 8,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and a 13MP rear camera paired with a 12MP front camera. It’s available in two variants — 8GB RAM with 128GB storage or 12GB RAM with 256GB storage — currently priced at ₹40,800 and ₹53,999 on Amazon India.
