Tecno seems ready to unveil its next tablet, allegedly called the MegaPad Pro. The device has surfaced in the rumor mill, revealing its key specs and images.
The tablet features a 12-inch display with a sharp 2K resolution and an 86% screen-to-body ratio. Design-wise, it sports squared-off edges along with a rear camera module. It will be available in two colors—grey and purple—and has a slim, metal build that’s just 7mm thick and weighs 550g.
AI Button, 10000mAh battery, and more
Tecno has also integrated its AI-powered smart assistant, which can help with multitasking, provide quick on-screen suggestions, and even handle translations. There’s also a dedicated AI Quick Button for instant access to the ELLA voice assistant.
The tablet supports Tecno’s MEGA Pencil stylus for note-taking, offering 4,096 pressure levels, low latency, and an eraser function. You can draw, write, annotate, convert sketches into AI images, or perform quick searches with gestures.
Powering the device is a 10,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. According to the leak, it will also support microSD cards. However, the leak doesn’t spill the beans on the processor, RAM, or onboard storage just yet.
For audio, the MegaPad Pro boasts quad speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos, promising richer and more immersive sound for movies, games, and calls.
According to the leak, the device could launch at around ₹18,000–₹22,000 in India or $200–$250 in Europe. There is no word on launch timing yet, but we will keep you in the loop as we hear more about it.
