Honor has confirmed the arrival of its next-generation compact foldable, the Magic V Flip 2. The company has revealed its design direction, once again collaborating with fashion designer Professor Jimmy Choo. While the launch date remains unannounced, the release of the first teaser suggests the device could debut as early as this month.

The above teaser suggests that the Honor Magic V Flip 2 will feature a distinctive crystal-studded back panel with a starry-sky effect created using a special manufacturing process. As per reports, the Honor’s upcoming flip hone will have a 6.8-inch LTPO main display and a 4-inch LTPO high refresh rate cover screen.
Under the hood, the Magic V Flip 2 could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, which is built on TSMC’s 4nm process. This is the same chip that powers performance-focused phones, such as the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro, iQOO Neo 10 (India), and Oppo K13 Turbo Pro.
According to leaks, the Magic V Flip 2 is expected to feature a 5,500mAh battery with 80W wired charging, making it one of the largest battery capacities for a small foldable device in 2025. The design is expected to be lighter and thinner than its predecessor, potentially weighing around 190 grams and measuring under 7mm when unfolded.
In China, the first-generation Magic V Flip launched at a starting price of 4,999 (~$700). The new model is expected to follow a similar pricing structure when it drops.
