Redmi is expected to unveil the Redmi K90 series of smartphones in October this year. Recent reports have revealed that while the K90 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (SM8845) chip, the K90 Pro will come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (SM8850) onboard. The following leak, shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, seemingly sheds information about the Pro edition.
Redmi K90 Pro key specifications

The above leak suggests that the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2-powered Redmi K90 Pro may sport a flat display made from a new high-quality material, with a large R-corner design, high resolution, and eye-friendly features. As per previous leaks, it could be equipped with a 6.59-inch flat RGB OLED LTPS screen offering a 2K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
It is said to feature a battery capacity in the 7,000mAh range and 100W wired fast charging, complemented by 50W wireless charging support. However, the tipster mentioned in a previous leak that it will house a massive 7,500mAh battery.
The rear camera setup is said to include a periscope telephoto camera, whereas for security, it is expected to arrive with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Connectivity and data transfer could get a major boost with a USB 3.0 high-speed interface. The tipster also mentions a significant upgrade in external audio performance, suggesting that the K90 Pro could strongly appeal to users who prioritize music playback quality. Other reports have claimed that the device will feature a metal middle frame and an x-axis linear motor.
In all likelihood, the Redmi K90 series will be rebranded as the Poco F8 lineup globally. The Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra are expected to launch in Q1 2026 as rebadged versions of the K90 and K90 Pro, respectively.
