Xiaomi is expanding its smart home range with a new air purifier. The latest home appliance is the MIJIA Smart Air Purifier 6, which is the successor to the MIJIA Air Purifier 5 from last year. Now, this model has been listed on the brand’s global website, hinting at an imminent release. We also get a look at some of its specs and features, so let’s check it out.
Xiaomi’s Latest Smart Air Purifier 6 Brings Healthier Air
The Chinese tech giant’s new MIJIA Smart Air Purifier 6 surfaced on the global website, carrying the AC-M25-SC product number. As per the listing, the product is designed to clean out the air with a five stage air purification process that removes allergens like pollen, while also removing odors and formaldehyde.
Furthermore, the filtration system uses an activated carbon filter and UV radiation, as well as various sensors that can map temperature and humidity, along with PM2.5 and PM1 sensors, and a dust sensor. The Xiaomi MIJIA Smart Air Purifier 6 measures 250 x 250 x 550 millimeters and even houses a display on the front. It is capable of a CADR of 443 m³ per hour.
As of right now, this smart air purifier is only listed on the Xiaomi global website. In other words, there is still no information regarding its pricing and regional availability. However, we can expect more information from the brand to surface soon.
