Sony is bringing a taste of its premium audio lineup with the launch of the Inzone H9 II gaming headset. Borrowing the same drivers from the flagship WH-1000XM6 headphones, the H9 II promises immersive, high-quality sound in a more affordable package.
Sony Inzone H9 II Brings Premium WH-1000XM6 Audio to Gamers
Back in 2022, Sony unveiled its Inzone series of peripherals for gamers, and we even reviewed the Inzone H5 wireless gaming headset. Now, it has just announced the successor to its flagship model with the Inzone H9 II gaming headphones. Gaming headphones aren’t typically known for their audio quality, but the latest model does not compromise in this regard.

As per official notes, the Inzone H9 II borrows its audio drivers from Sony’s best, the WH-1000XM6. This is one of the biggest upgrades over its predecessor. But apart from this, you also get a lighter body, virtual 7.1 surround sound support, and Sony 360 Reality Audio. The Inzone H9 II features ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) along with a transparency mode as well. While you can use this with an AUX cable, you get both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz with a USB-C dongle.
So it is compatible with Nintendo Switch 2, smartphones, PCs, and Xbox Series X as well. On wireless operation, Sony promises up to 30 hours of battery life. Notably, the company has added special sound profiles for games like Valorant and Apex Legends. These were built in partnership with Fnatic and have a 349 US Dollar price tag, making it more affordable than the flagship WH-1000XM6.
