Realme is gearing up to redefine endurance in smartphones. Back in May 2025, we got our hands on the Realme GT Concept Phone, which was a prototype model with a ridiculous 10,000mAh battery pack. But now, it appears that the brand is taking things a step further soon.
Realme Teases Phone with Over 10,000mAh Battery
Earlier today (21st August 2025), the Chinese smartphone maker shared a new teaser that states ‘THE BIGGEST JUST GOT EVEN BIGGER’. Realme is going to shake up the smartphone industry soon. In a short video shared by Realme’s vice president, Chase Xu, and the company’s president of realme global marketing, a creative teaser was shared that confirms a new smartphone is in the works that will have a cell larger than 10,000mAh.
The brand might release a 12,000mAh powered device, which is quite impressive. In comparison, the base iPhone 16 houses a battery that is around 3,500mAh. If we exclude rugged phones or other special kind of models, this could be the biggest battery on any modern commercial phone. There have been unique models with huge batteries but their bulk made them impractical for regular users.
Every few years, we see a new trend in the smartphone industry, like telephoto shooters, pop up cameras, and others. But now, the battery race is the most popular thing in town. Unfortunately, we still don’t have any details on this upcoming Realme smartphone, although, the company will showcase this model on 27th August 2025. So stick around for more.
