OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 15.0.0.850 for the OnePlus 13R in India. The update is being released in batches and will expand to more users in the coming days. The build number is CPH2691_15.0.0.850(EX01).
Floating Windows and Split View
The update improves animations when opening, repositioning, and resizing floating windows. Split View is no longer limited to fixed ratios, and users can now drag the divider to adjust app sizes in landscape mode. When recent tasks are stacked, the lock status of an app can be changed by swiping down on it.
Private Safe Updates
Private Safe has been expanded with several new options. Users can now share images and videos directly from Private Safe, set custom covers for albums, and sort or view media by time. Files can also be placed directly under the “Other files” category.
Notifications in Landscape Mode
All notifications in landscape now appear in a simplified banner format. Swiping down on a banner opens the app in a floating window. Tapping on a banner button also launches the app in a floating window instead of full screen. The position of banner notifications has been adjusted to reduce interruptions.
BeaconLink Messaging
The update adds BeaconLink, which allows sending text, image, and voice messages to nearby devices without an internet connection. This feature can be found in Settings → Mobile network → BeaconLink.
Security Patch
The release also integrates the August 2025 Android security patch to improve system security.
This is an incremental OTA update. A small group of users will receive it first, followed by a wider rollout. Features and availability may vary by region.
