Xiaomi is preparing for HyperOS 3 release, which is expected to be a major upgrade for Xiaomi devices, bringing visual upgrades, new features, AI upgrades, and a host of improvements. According to reports, the brand plans to release two versions of HyperOS 3: one based on Android 15 and another based on Android 16, as it has done with past HyperOS releases.
While a bunch of Xiaomi devices are set to receive the HyperOS 3 upgrade, many of them won’t be upgraded to Android 15, meaning they will only receive Android 15-based HyperOS 3 software. This includes several flagship phones as well. The folks at Xiaomi Time have prepared a list of 31 such Xiaomi devices, which we have mentioned below.

When will Xiaomi start rolling out the HyperOS 3 update?
Xiaomi hasn’t announced a release date for HyperOS 3 just yet. However, according to recent reports, the brand has already stopped working on the current build to focus entirely on HyperOS 3. It could soon begin the HyperOS 3 beta program, based on Android 16.
