Talking about specs, Honor Magic V5 packs a 7.95″ foldable OLED and 6.43″ outer OLED, both with stylus support, 120Hz refresh, 1.07B colors, Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, and 5000 nits peak brightness. It features 4320Hz PWM dimming, motion relief, adaptive light, and a carbon fiber reinforced inner panel for added durability.

The Magic V5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, built on a 4nm process. It features an octa-core CPU with clock speeds up to 4.32GHz and an Adreno 830 GPU, ensuring top-tier performance across productivity, gaming, and AI tasks.

The device runs MagicOS 9.0.1 (Android 15) with built-in Google Gemini AI, launchable via double-tap. It offers AI tools like real-time translation, transcription, AI Cutout, Image to Video, and Honor Notes. It also features Multi-Flex mode, which enables multitasking with up to three apps at once.

Coming to the optics, the V5 features a 50MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide, and a 64MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical and up to 100x digital zoom. Both the inner and outer displays house 20MP selfie cameras, while the Honor Image Engine enables AI Super Zoom, Motion Sensing Capture, and Enhanced Portraits.

Under the hood, the device houses a 5820mAh silicon-carbon battery, paired with 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. It also supports wireless reverse charging. This combination ensures long runtime and fast top-ups.

The device features a Super Steel Hinge rated for 500,000+ folds, IP58/IP59 ratings, NanoCrystal Shield, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, dual 5G, USB-C for charging/audio, and stereo speakers. Its Ivory White model is the slimmest at 8.8mm folded and 217g, while others weigh 222g.

Pricing and Availability

The Honor Magic V5 is available globally in Ivory White, Black, Dawn Gold, and Reddish Brown. It is priced at £1,699.99 in the UK and €1,999 across Europe for the 16GB + 512GB model. The device is already on sale through Honor’s official channels and retail partners.
