If your Xiaomi device didn’t make the cut, don’t worry. The brand promises to open the beta program for more devices in the coming weeks. You may want to keep your eyes focused on the second wave announcement.
How to sign up for the HyperOS 3 beta program?
If you have an eligible Xiaomi device and that you live in China, you can sign up for the HyperOS 3 beta program right now.
Here are the steps to follow:
- Visit the Xiaomi Community Internal Testing Center.
- Sign in using your Mi account credentials.
- Select the HyperOS 3 beta program.

Once you’ve signed up for the beta program, you can expect a beta update very soon. You should receive a notification on your Xiaomi device regarding the same. You can also manually check for updates by going to Settings > About phone and tapping the HyperOS logo.

Also, keep in mind that there’s no easy way to revert to the stable release without erasing your data. Therefore, ensure that you have backed up important data to prevent data loss.
